The Gay Blog BR, cutting-edge vehicle for entertainment and empowerment LGBTQIA+, is proud to announce the launch of its newest project: the debut of its podcast about health, culture, behavior, rights and entertainment will be approached and available on the main popular platforms streaming, such as Spotify, Amazon, Apple, Google and Youtube.
Presented by cultural manager Maurício Kino and coordinated by editor-in-chief Vinícius Yamada, the project, which debuted last week, seeks to deepen conversations about essential topics that affect our community and reaffirm our representation. More than interviews, it is a call to action to embrace the complexity, diversity and capacity of transformation inherent to the LGBTQIA+ community and the society as a whole.
Under the theme “LGBTQIA+ population and Mental Health”, the first episode brings important reflections through the listening and psychoanalytic analysis by Pedro Ambra, psychologist and professor from PUC-SP. Pedro focuses on topics such as the social construction of violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals, the culture of appeasement, suicide, same-sex relationships, among other topics.
The cultural tip of the edition is the launch of the “Trilogy for Life”, by Ercolano Publishing House, which portrays the trajectory of HIV in the Brazilian society and the LGBTQIA+ community with the publications “I Remember Every Day of You”, “Brenda Lee and the Palace of the Princesses” and “Codinome Daniel”.
