You might not think that any transgender person supports President Trump’s ban on transgender women in girls’ or women’s sports. Indeed, we generally know that transgender women are not great athletes. However, one particular person, with qualifications as both a transgender woman and an athlete, as well as a Republican, does indeed accept President Trump’s statements about transgender athletes. That person is Caitlyn Jenner. For certainty when science is uncertain at best, and for continued loyalty to someone who clearly is not listening to her, Caitlyn Jenner gets a TWIT. PinkNews has this story.

The State Department changed the name of one of its Travel Safety web page from LGBTQ+ Travelers to LGB Travelers. For literally erasing transgender people, as if we do not exist, the State Department’s web administrators get a TWIT. This story comes from Erin Reed.

As we mentioned in the news, the CDC has withdrawn several papers which were scheduled to be published in medical and scientific journals. These papers are being reviewed, with the intention of removing certain words which President Trump’s political appointees want banned, including the word “transgender.” For eliminating information about us, in an attempt to eliminate us, the CDC political appointees get a TWIT. Reuters has this story.

Micah Leroy is a disabled college student who has an online presence. Recently, he posted on Instagram about his top surgery, and he got a good bit of backlash from conservatives. The conservatives complained to Meta, which removed his account. For siding with the bullies against its user, Meta gets a TWIT. The Advocate has this story.

U.S. Representative Nancy Mace held a hearing in the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation on “Transgender Lab Rats and Poisoned Puppies: Oversight of Taxpayer Funded Animal Cruelty.” Of course, the entire subject is a cruel bit of a joke, but not the kind of a cruel joke that she thinks it is. In her prepared remarks, he complained that the programs she opposes are DEI programs, even though they have nothing to do with actual diversity, equity, or inclusion. In her remarks on the subject, she used a certain slur against transgender people multiple times. After the hearing, a clip of herself getting angry and repeating the slur three times appeared at the top of her X account. For classifying everything she opposes as “DEI” and “transgender,” and for having no shame about it, Representative Nancy Mace gets a TWIT. This story comes from The Advocate.
