Satire is a form of humor that is tricky to use. It’s all too easy for a satirical joke to be accepted as fact by people who don’t get it. That’s what’s occurred in the case of a Facebook video purporting to be an announcement by the Disney corporation that the company was going to create new pediatric clinics for trans kids. The “executive” was actually conservative comedian Mark Dice. He attended several California city council meetings to make the “announcement” look real.
